Actually, the one single for the Transformers 2 Soundtrack is all that is scheduled this year from Mike, Chester and the guys. Their fourth album is tentatively slated for early 2010.
The single from Transformers 2 has been out since early June. Its called new divide. They are releasing there album in 2010. There is no name for it now and they are currently working on it. Mike Shinoda said that this album will be something innovative and will not sound like anything they have done up to this date. He also said there will be more rap on the cd as well. Chester Bennington, who is one of the lead vocalist of Linkin Park, will be releasing his solo album in September of 2009. His side project is called Dead By Sunrise. Thats about the closest thing you will get to Linkin Park in 2009.
