My friend invited me to a music festival but I really dont want to go?

So my friend and her boyfriend are going to a music festival but they bought 3 tickets. I barely know her boyfriend.
They are trying to get me to go, but I really dont want to because I will be gooseberry for the whole weekend and a loner when they are getting off together etc. Also her boyfriend is really arrogant and mean.
I’ve already said I have no money to pay but she says I can pay back whenever I have money.

Just be honest honey and tell her the truth. It might hurt her feelings but if she is a true friend she will get over it.
I completely understand how you don’t want to be the third wheel.. its weird she doesn’t see how uncomfortable it would be for you?
maybe you have another good friend going that you guys could meet up with? find out !
but if not.. i think being honest with her would be the best thing.. if you don’t want to do that tell her last minute something came up.
mom said you can’t go, got in trouble at home, babysitting etc.
Tell her you don’t want to go and that you are not going…in a nice way of course.
Tell her the truth and how you don’t want to go and also say your really sorry. If she’s a sensitive friend, she’ll be mad/sad at first but then get over it, if she’s a kind normal friend, she’ll be ok with it, but if she’s a depressed usually bored rarely amused friend, she will be mad/sad for a WHILE.
Stand your ground……Life is to short to waste it being unhappy – there are enough mandatory things to do without buckling under on social events. Tell them thanks, but no thanks, you simply Can Not go and leave
it at that…
